I have written about my siblings. Even though we have a group text and plan gifts and parties for our mother together, I am still always surprised when people are shocked by "how close we are." I mean, I suppose we are, but why is that a surprise? That is how it's supposed to be, right? If you are not close with your siblings, apologize, forgive, do whatever you must to recover that relatioship. It is far too valuable to squander. Absent abuse of some kind, there is no excuse for neglecting your first friends. May God restore your sibling relationships.
